Stiftung Schweizerisches Gemmologisches Institut

SSEF (Swiss Gemmological Institute) is a global company specialising in the analysis of gemstones and pearls. The expanding company needed more laboratory space and was able to more than double the area at its new location at Aeschengraben 26, near the SBB railway station.

Blaser Architekten built the new premises with laboratories, research, offices, administration and common areas on an area of 630 m2. Together with the client, the operational process was optimised and spatially implemented. A spacious, state-of-the-art laboratory was created on the first floor of the office building.
